Let's Decipher the Data

  • Biggest annual amount of homes sold = Hickory Hills with a whopping 70.3% increase in sales from 2014!
  • Largest price increase = Evergreen Park with 11% average sales price increase
  • Biggest drop in amount of homes sold = Oak Park sold 4% less homes in 2015 vs. 2014
  • Largest price decrease = the average sale priced decreased 10.8% in Lemont
  • Highest priced suburb = in this list La Grange took the honors with an average sale price of $538,244 - very close to 2014's amount
  • Lowest priced suburb = Midlothian with an average sale price of $110,220

Those are unexpected statistics!  The good news is that overall more homes were sold in 2015 than 2014 and prices have increased for most suburbs.  What is interesting is that with such a high increase in amount of homes sold in Hickory Hills, the price decreased 0.7%.

Once again, this list comprises areas that clients have bought homes in over the years.  Our base area of service is the southwest suburbs using Orland Park as our hub and spreading out from there. You can see we do sell in other areas.
